Amber Smith

Fermentation and Formulation

Amber has been with AgBiome since 2013. She currently coordinates lab and pilot scale fermentations of microbial strains in-house and at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). This allows her to interact with multiple teams and individuals within Research and Development efforts. She started at AgBiome as an assay biologist in the Plant Disease group and moved to Fermentation in 2015.
Amber attended Methodist University, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology. After working in a wholesale greenhouse for two years, she completed a Masters degree in Plant Pathology at North Carolina State University.
